Reflections in Timeby puyaComment: I like the colors in this, with the brown-green on the rocks, the teal in the water, and the blue in the sky. it's a real shame how noisy it is. neatimage might help with that, but you might lose a lot of the detail in the water sparkle. |

Positive Space by jjbeguinComment: terrific lighting. this might be more striking in black & white or even duotone, picking up the mid shade of the brown brick. |

Quiet bench by the bend.by TrinchComment: I haven't been to this garden (I'm 99% sure I know where it is) since the summer. Its feeling in November is very different, quieter, with all the flowers "sleeping." That's what gives this a meditative quality. I'm not sure I'd call it "sacred" but it's definitely contemplative and emotive, especially with the curving path disappearing into the near horizon. |

household Shinto altarby kenboComment: would like this better in color. the wood tones would be very warm and help the sacrosanct impression. also a slight rotation to the left of about half a degree to make the tabletop perfectly horizontal. |

Our Lady of Lourdesby sleekrComment: This would benefit greatly from softer lighting (not a flash), perhaps a longer exposure *with* a tripod (to avoid the blur on the leaves) and a higher angle (so we could see some of the statue's face). |

Place to Prayby melongrindComment: This has that sort of hazy halo about it that makes it look blown-up, oversharpened, or perhaps taken with digital zoom? Getting closer to the head of the aisle and having fewer pews in the photo might have made everything clearer. |

Inner Sanctumby FlashComment: soft focus works very well to make this room look inviting and so warm. I would crop this picture so you only see the one door. The handle on the right-side door is distracting. Half (or one-third) door and half (or two-thirds) bedroom would be a simpler and more effective composition. |

My Sacred Placeby jab119Comment: One of the best water/nature/horizon/infinity shots this challenge. I like the one stark cloud and the single seagull, and the color and reflections are lovely. The lens flare around the sun is distracting, but perhaps intentional or unavoidable. |
