Focus on the petals is a little soft. Focus seems to be on the leaves. Adjusting that would have made this much better in my eyes. Otherwise, it is a very nice photo. I know the DPC crowd is not fond of borders, but I like yours. The background is just excellent. Very nice... Good Luck!

Nice use of light and shadow. Not sure about the B&W. I think upping the contrast might have made this pop a little better. Otherwise, I like it and I hope others really look at it so they can really appreciate your use of light, etc. Good Luck.

Very nice, technically sound photo. I judge how interesting I find a photo by the degree to which I would like to have it on my wall. This is one I would certainly hang up therefore it is a very interesting photo. Good job and Good Luck!

It is nice to see someone who looked at the true definition of minimalism. If I know the DPC crowd, they are judging solely based on the challenge description. I however, am not. Very nice minimalistic photo.
