Daisy chainby marboComment: Nice idea, fair execution... I'd like just a touch more contrast between the daisies and the background. |

Vineby jimmyn4Comment: *Critique Club*
FIRST IMPRESSION: Good photograph, the number is clearly evident but nothing I would have though of on my own... great thinking!
CHALLENGE: Meets the challenge.
COMPOSITION: Excellent composition. I love the way the vien leads the viewers eye in from the corner, through the tangle at center, and up to the "9" at upper right. I would have preferred a more interesting background but understand this was a natural setting and the backgroung was pretty much out of your control.
TECHNICAL: Good exposure and I like the shallow depth of field, especially given the simple background.
CONCLUSION: A solid entry that was worthy of its top 10 finish.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in future challenges! |

I Walked Hereby greenem2Comment: *Critique Club*
FIRST IMPRESSION: Great sweeping curves. I love the texture, light and shadow.
CHALLENGE: Meets the challenge.
COMPOSITION: Excellent composition. The lines of the bridge cause the viewer's eye to sweep across the photograph, taking in all the detail.
TECHNICAL: Great exposure, good detail from light to dark with no blowouts. The use of black and white makes the focus of this shot the bridge and its texture/light/shadows, rather than the brighter leaves of the trees. The sweeping curves and light through the bridge railings really set this image apart from the others.
CONCLUSION: A great image, one of my top scorers this week.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in future challenges! |

Community Bridgeby mcrochipComment: Nice capture of this bridge. You've put a unique slant on this subject ;-) . Seriously, tonal range looks good, good solid exposure, subject is crisp. Detail is good from light to dark. |

Mond, RayMondby jjbeguinComment: In my opinion, this does not meet the challenge, which required that the subject be naturally occurring (not manufactured in any way), which is a shame, because this is a truly outstanding photograph. |

GrapeVine 9by kerrywcComment: Excellent... good eye! Most of the photos went for the big, this proves that small works just as well or better. |
