The view from my street

The view from my street

I think this needs somewhat of a human connection to really fit the genre of street photography. In any case, I feel like your subject (the graffiti-covered wall) does not take up enough of the frame, and the fence in the foreground blocks the viewer from it. Also, the photo itself seems to need a slight clockwise rotation to level the horizon.

I'd love to see this in black and white. Also my eye seems to gravitate to the window at top left, as it's brighter than your subject.

I feel blocked by the trees and poles along the sidewalk. This needs a point of interest. As it is, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at.

This needs a point of interest -- I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. It also needs some type of human connection to really fit the genre of street photography.

Good light (or good post-processing) to bring out your subject. The man in the foreground is a distraction and I would have perhaps preferred this without him in the photograph.

The word that comes to mind for me here is "almost." I don't like that as a viewer, I am blocked from "guitar man" by the two people in the foreground. Still, great light and tonality.

I like this, but it borders on being an environmental portrait. I can see this as a photo to go with a feature article in a newspaper or magazine, but as street photography it does not quite convince me.

Outstanding. This may be posed but it's still convincing. Great light, great subject, great background and great DOF.

This is OK, but just OK. I don't like that the viewer's connection to the subject is "blocked" by the shoulder in the foreground.

This photograph really needs a point of interest to hold the viewer's attention. As it is, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at.
