Bateleur by andrewtComment: I like the nice solid composition in your shot, is the beck lacking a little bit of detail and colour? |

Aftermath of a rejected heartby redpandaComment: nice content to go with the theme. Would it have helped to have some dejected person walking away in the reflection or similar for some extra impact? |

Brown-Eyesby izadoodleComment: nicely done with he eyes. Not 100% certain about the pose though it looks rather unnatural. Also there are on or two specks on her face and lose hairs that you should have removed to enhance the look you are after. |

Curvesby JdroullardComment: nice shot of a classic subject. I think the composition would have been helped if you did not have so much sand at the bottom of shot. Also that rock cutting into shot on the left hand side is a distraction. There also appears to be a lot of image noise so I am guessing you are using a high ISO, get a tripod or monopod for extra stability so you can cut back on the ISO. |

When the Sun Goes Downby MsAmbrosiaComment: nice use of the rule of thirds and using the pier as a lead in line.. I would have considered straitening the leading post and removing that boat in the back ground. Two other things to consider would be to give it a more panoramic crop as the sky is a bit uniform and maybe the other side of the pier would have given you a better angle as the pier is bending away from you in this shot. |

Fire in the Skyby darnokComment: good job with the water, getting just enough texture into it. I would have liked a cleaner composition i.e. with out the rock middle right, also because they are considerably darker (and water). |

Orange Sherbetby briandsdComment: I like the way you have composed the flowers. I find the background distracting because of the regular lines that are slightly tilted. I would have been nice to get some more light into the leading flower as well. |

Orange Orchidby MisterMarcusComment: lovely shot of the flower. I don't personally like what you have done with the background, its neither there or totally removed, also there are only or two small patches where you have burnt/darkened the flower. |

Orange Beautyby andrewtComment: really nice angle on this combined with DOF. For some reason the area under the base of its wings looks a little bit odd though. |

journeys endby cutoutComment: look interesting shot, but I have no idea what the idea behind the shot is or how it is related to the challenge. |
