Much to like here with details and interesting textures at various different scales but I wish there was not quite such a large really dark area dominating the picture.

I like the whimsical touch of the pomegranates against the gnarled roots of the tree. Excellent control of light and exposure for a minimal editing challenge.

I like the right two thirds of this, but IMO the foreground tree provides a jarring, and not particularly attractive element to this otherwise lovely and calm scene.

I like the detail of the exposed roots being silhouetted along with the tree. Great evening light providing some nice detail in the clouds. I have a suspicion this might be Wendy's shot. If not, take that as a compliment.

Trees

I wonder if these are neglected apple or other fruit trees. The barn provides a nice sense of "place", I can imagine myself here and it reminds me of places I have been to. I like that about it. It's a rather muted palette and flat light, but to my eyes this somehow works better than that combination usually does, IMO.

"Fall"ing for Red

I like the trunk disappearing into the canopy of leaves, but I think the image would hold my interest longer if there was more contrast within the leaves. For my taste, the leaves are too close to being a uniform blur of red.

ETA: Since this is a minimal editing challenge, I guess that would mean taking the picture in different light.
