Muddy river after a snowstorm

The sunny day hereabouts immediately following the snowstorm was just magical, and you captured that feeling in your beautifully framed view of the river. I can feel the stillness and quiet!! Great shot and congrats on the ribbon.

This has to be a West County lane -- the style of signage is certainly British. It reminds me of single track roads in Devon. After hundreds of years of use most were at a considerably lower level than the surrounding fields, and after a heavy rain would be covered with mud left by tractors or that had run off from the fields.

Perhaps this is the aftermath of storm Imogen?

I like this a lot, perhaps because it has a familiar feel to it from the Cape Cod canal entrance, heck it may even be there.

There is tension between the two piers and the two lights that makes the picture IMO, plus a good capture of the snow. I'd be interested in the exposure details :-)

Sadly, this comes across for me as rather contrived and as a bit of a cliche, and that decreases my appreciation for it. It's technically fine with it's very limited DOF. But overall it just gets my average score.
