The 13:05 to Totnesby paynekjComment: I will come back to vote later, just scanning for now. Just had to say my heart skipped a beat when I saw this. I've taken many, many journeys on the "Great Western Railways", as it was then, when I lived in Plymouth. Then after I'd emigrated and came back to visit my parents living in the south hams I would take the train to Totnes. |

13 Minutes of Stardomby bspurgeonComment: Congratulations, Ben. Hey, that middle rock almost looks as if it could be a sleeping beast with its claws protruding into the water. |

Hi Steve. For the record, Robert has been a personal one man cheering section the last few days as it become clear my score was going to remain over 7 the whole way.. I've had to "tolerate" his chant of "Penny's going to ribbon .... " which wasn't too hard a sound to hear. :-) Message edited by author 2010-04-11 14:01:33. |

It Says What? by PhocalComment: Such a striking image. I really enjoy the way the light is rippling outward, in a circular fashion. Congratulations on the ribbon. |

all grown up by ursulaComment: This engages me emotionally. Well done. My thoughts on this are that swings are a wonderful metaphor for and reminder of childhood. That remembered feeling of flying through the air without a care is a powerful one. One that we can feel drawn back to. Some aspects of the processing seem a bit ragged, but whether deliberately so or not I cannot tell, for example the dark halo around the hands and the transition area where the ground ends. |

Hinomaruby Yo_SpiffComment: Appropriate choice of high aspect ratio for this image. A very pleasing image. I find it simultaneously both calming and stimulating! |
