The Oak Chapelby gyabanComment: What an interesting story (I searched on the web to find out more about this tree.) You've captured the textures well. |

Moss on Brickby GeneralEComment: Lovely capture of the light and textures, but I do find the out of focus foreground rather disracting |

Our Love Nestby jellybellyComment: Lovely composition and processing. Lots of interesting shapes and textures, and a great capture getting both the pigeons looking at the camera at the same time. |

Please Don't Run Over Meby aj1621Comment: Interesting image, but the suddenness of the transition on the hard surface from blurred, to sharp, and back to blurred is unnatural, and to my eyes detracts from the overall image. |

Concrete Strawberryby zencowComment: Great textures and colors. The concrete seems more in focus than the nature element, which seem to be dandelion leaves, but this images pleases me. |

Supermoon!by jmritzComment: Wow, that's fun and I unless I'm mistaken it even rotated 90 degrees on the way up!
Well, that's interesting. I just looked at all the challenge submissions and noticed that most of them have the same orientation as this. When I was initially looking at this I had just finished processing my moonset images, and the difference jumped out at me, but I hadn't thought about the fact that the orientation of the moon might be different between evening and morning. I'll have to ponder that one. Message edited by author 2011-03-21 08:30:58. |

The Hermit by SirashleyComment: Lovely shot, I like that you chose B&W. I gave it a 9. The light on his cap and beard provide great texture, and the cap, beard, and the rings on his hand provide a nice triangle of interest that holds my eye. Congratulations on your first ribbon and a PB! |
