My Wayby galatia_nComment: Quirky! I'm having an interesting time figuring out what parts are reflections. Is that how you managed to get a partial figure? There is something about the two signs on the upper right that I find very appealing |

Croquetby glad2badadComment: Lovely. Great POV and limited area of focus transports us there. A lensbaby shot? |

realm of the vengeful woodsprite by skewsmeComment: Just lovely! Great tone and degree of blur. This really captures the "feel" of being in the woods, which in my experience is hard to do. I'll be interested to find out what camera settings etc you used. |

Herring Nightmareby PetRockComment: I like this and keep coming back to it, so it does draw me in in some way. But I also keep finding that I like it more in the thumbnail than the full image where it seems too contrived, in the sense of being set up and with all the blur/distortion created by obvious camera movement rather than being an image that captures a moment or movement spontaneously, which IMO is a Ben hallmark. |

..Surf....Shell....Sailboatby senor_kasperComment: An interesting composition. Lovely exposure, overall softness, and light on the damp sand. The type of shell and its position feels slightly contrived, and for me that is the antithesis of most of Ben's images. But overall a pleasing image. |

A long cello lessonby the99Comment: Ha! Funny thing, I am voting on this challenge when I should be preparing for my upcoming cello lesson! I find this interesting. I like the light coming in from the side, and the head turned away. Those plus the sheet music on the stand provide a left to right flow across the image. But the position of the cello seems really unnatural. I don't recall seeing many ?any players holding their cello like this, even during periods when they are not playing, and it's difficult not to let that affect my reaction to the image. Overall, it's an evocative picture. I like the soft feel and the slight graininess. |
