Morning paintingby SistoComment: In my top few. I love how the textures of the grass, trees, and mountains feel painterly without any obvious application of a "painterly" filter.
I'd be interested to know what processing you used and/or see the original for comparison. |

Memories of Summerby mluComment: As with Marion, ( Jomari) this was one of my top few. A beautiful capture of light, as well as a captivating scene. Message edited by author 2020-07-29 11:06:33. |

Harbor Daybreakby Bear_MusicComment: Wychmere harbor ~ one of Harwich Port's gems. It's great how from this angle you can appreciate its origins as a deep kettle pond. I was so tickled when I learned that before it was opened up to form a harbor, a track for racing horses and horse drawn carts was built around it. Message edited by author 2020-07-27 21:15:01. |

Restby streetpigeonComment: My mind goes to the world of print making. Love the palette, the layers, and the combination/justaposition of horizontal and vertical elements. |

Big Yellow Feetby vawendyComment: I just noticed that the shutter speed was 1/2500!
My 2 cents. A few years ago when I was playing around with panning I found that it can be hard to achieve a shallow depth of field and a long enough exposure time to capture noticeable panning unless you add a neutral density filter. Then again, when you are panning depth of field may not be much of an issue since much of the image will be fairly blurred. Message edited by author 2020-07-10 17:41:12. |

Rolling inby markwileyComment: Gorgeous image with a lovely balance between the foreground, small islands, mountains and sky.
Taken during your trip to Alaska by any chance? It has something of the feel that I remember from our trip there in 2016. |
