Thanks John! And thanks to everyone who voted and made comments. I learned a lot about paying attention to my background and not just the subject...I realized that the rocking chair was there Sunday evening after I submitted. I knew it would get comments but I'm really proud of how the photo came out and how well it did..thanks to all. :)

good representation of the challenge. I would have rather seen the fingers in front focused and the hands in the background not as focused. Also it's a little too bright in the forground. But the stop action is great and I like the idea.

I think I like this....I'm not sure what it is exactly that appeals to me...and that's not a put down, it's just that it's B&W and.....I'm really not sure what you did to it. It makes it look really old and it's better than having those board colors come through. I think it was a good thing that the color is gone from this....less distracting.
