I can't really say that this doesn't meet the challenge but it just doesn't grab me. It's a perfectly acceptable photo but it lacks a wow factor or a common thread for me to grasp as the viewer. Perhaps if the flowers were more interesting...maybe its that they are so green which seems antithetical to death?

The lines parallel to the ground seem to be tilted, thus causing me to think that maybe the camera was turned. I think this could have been addressed by rotating the image about .5-1 degree clockwise. Other than that, good subject and I like this in B&W. Did you try it in sepia or duo-tones? - 7
