Sabbatier Starby GordonComment: My goodness! What an explosion of colour!! I love it, and I want to know how you did it :). 10 from me! |

Blow Itby KonadorComment: Gorgeous colours and lighting. I like your shallow depth of field, it really lifts this photo. The subject doesn't inspire me greatly, but your treatment of it is masterful. |

Bloomingdales Candid 1by smellyfish1002Comment: It's amazing the way you caught the parallel between the guy's profile and whatever is in the background! Beautiful, rich tones, and great diffuse lighting on the guy's face. The framing/composition is tight. I like it a lot! 10. |

Maybe I Can Sneak Into DPC2by GeneralEComment: Cute portrait, well lit, well exposed, well focussed, well framed. It's technically very good, and you deserve to be proud. It lacks a bit of interest for me personally, but still worth an objective 9 just for being so good! |

Light Towerby FrooberComment: This is an interesting light house, and a nice sky, but I think there are more interesting things you could do than just place it on a third. A steeper angle (ie. taken closer to the base of the light house and looking up) would be more dynamic. Otherwise, it is techinically very good. It just lacks a bit of interest. |

Keep the home fires burning...........by boyte1Comment: This is an interesting, atmospheric image, but it really seems to need some levels adjustment. The dark areas are a little lighter than they could be, reducing the impact of the flame. |

Driftwoodby GraciousComment: Wiow! Beautiful! The high contrast black and white brings out all the detail in the wood, giving it a real sense of age and wear. The composition is very strong... it takes my eyes around the wood and then off towards the horizon, making me wonder what is out there in the distance. I love it! 10. |

?by sjgleahComment: Hmmm.... this seems flat and static. I'm trying to work out why.... the backlighting on the sign doesn't help, making it dim in relation to the background. The leaves are lit too harshly, and seem washed out and unappealing. The composition doesn't hit any of the right elements... it uses the rule of thirds but that isn't always enough :). The post seems to drag my eyes out of the photo. I just don't respond well to this image. |

City Abstractby JakComment: I like the composition of this, and the colours. It's a really fetching abstract photo. The slight graininess is kind of nice, in my opinion. Photos that are very sharp sometimes seem harsh to me. However, I think the border is a bit too wide and dominates the photo rather than complimenting it. |

Spaghettiby JackoComment: I like the patterns you created, but the colours aren't very appealing to me, and the composition seems a bit flat. Technically very good, but not the kind of abstract that excites me. |
