Very interesting, dark and weird. It reminds me of a painting... it's called "The Wanderer above the Mists" by Caspar David Friedrich (I just looked that up in a book of mine), although there is no wanderer in this photo. The viewer is put in that position.

However, there isn't enough tonal depth. Some work on the levels in this image would give it a lot of impact. It also has a very small file size, suggesting that you compressed it too much when you saved it.

Here is what I got when I tried fiddling with it, adjusting the levels and sharpening it, but the amount of compression has hurt it.

The colours and textures in this photo are very warm and beautiful. For some reason it gives me the feeling of a scene from a movie.

Interesting... I can see that you were attempting something cool here, but I'm not sure that it works. The rock and the tower compete with one another too much.

The light in this photo is great, and I love those long, pale blue shadows. However I think the composition of the other elements is a bit lacking. If you'd cut out more or left in more, it may have worked.

This is a very pleasant, peaceful scene, but photographically is a bit busy. The composition isn't tight enough to keep the viewer interested in any one particular thing.

Beautiful. It looks a bit like some kind of Japanese painting, or a woodblock print from the Art Nouveau era. So intricate and oranate. 10 from me!

Strange..... that looks like a pyramid back there. Is this Eqypt? It doesn't look enough like a desert.

Very interesting and exotic. I like the panoramic cropping. That sun is spectacular. I'm giving this 10 for being unique and beautiful.

Very rich black and white, with great clouds and beautiful, textured trees/shrubs. The subtle element of the ... whatever that geological formation is!... in the background ties the photo together beautifully.

Stunning tree silhouette, as nice as many in the "Without the Hand of Man" members challenge from a few weeks back. It's not quite a landscape photo though.
