I looked at this one for a while, because at first glance I didn't quite like it, then the title and the state of that bike started making me nostalgic (sniff). Also, the composition of it made my eyes linger for a while, because it's really very effective. The shapes you captured out of a mundane object are lovely. It's a great approach to this challenge.

This photo is just so incredibly dramatic and emotive, with that lighting and the camera angle on the little guy. It's very funny :)

I love this photo. The lighting is very effective, causeing nice highlights on the apples and lovely long, soft shadows. It's soft enough to bring out all the subtle shapes on the bowl. The arrangement is at once very static, but also suggests it just fell over so there's a dynamic element to it as well. Lastly, the tiles and muted colours in the background add a lot to bringing out the colours and roundness of the apples. Lots to look at in a deceptively simple photo :). 10

This is a photo that I don't think benefits from being turned upside down. A nice enough scene in it's own right though.

I really enjoy this photo because it's such a puzzle. Any closely cropped part of the human body with hair *always* leads people to jump to rude conclusions :). However, it's hard to tell whether or not this is rude, or whether or not it's upside down, so I expect a few disqualification calls.... bah. It's a cool idea. Shame about the low resolution.

Wow! Awesome photograph!!! The coins are a great effect, those trees are wonderful, the curve of the 'horizon' lifts the composition really beautifully, and I love those streetlights. Black and white brings out the trees and the 'sky' gorgeously. 10 from me, definitely! (Sigh... I need to think up more interesting adjectives/adverbs).

Oooh, pretty colours :) The strong reflections of the lights on the plastic is a bit distracting though.
