The water reflection turned upside down idea works in one or two cases where turning it upside down created a new interpretation, but photos like this one could have been just left the right way up. It's a nice photo other than that.

Yellowpeep... thank you :). He wasn't happy to pose for this, especially on cold cement, but despite his grumbles he usually does weird things I ask him to do, for which I'm grateful :)

OK, I'm very surprised by some of these comments. What was behind those 'eww' comments? This is, indeed, a yoga pose... maybe I should have been more descriptive with the title. The model was not naked, I cropped out his shorts. Anyone who might have been offended by the idea that this was a naked man was responding to whatever image existed in their mind, not my photo. Self-sucking? Um, no.

This is a guy's back, shoulders, hands and feet. He's not a beefy guy, but he's fit... not appealing? I don't get it at all.

As to the focus/sharpness... I have a 1.3 Megapixel camera, and I cropped a lot out of this photo, so I tried to smooth it out a bit with despeckle and sharpen filters. It made it look a bit odd, but I liked the result enough to enter it :)

This is a very beautiful photo. I particularly love the composition, with the angle of the fence and the positioning of the butterfly. Good work :)

I have no idea how you did this, but it made me laugh hard when I first saw it :)

This is really, really well composed... I love the way the glass stems create those tiers, and the background colour works well with the glasses. It's a real shame it's not focussed better!

Beautiful! The reflection is so weird and alien, and everything else so simple and clear. I wouldn't be surprised if this wins :)

Very interesting concept, but the backdrop is a bit distracting (being all creased) and the flashlight doesn't really help.

This is one of the water reflection photos turned upside down that I don't think quite works. It's a shame there are so many of them, because it's hard not to draw comparisons. I think if the photo is composed in a way that turning it upside down creates a new and interesting effect, then that's great, but in this case it doesn't do that. Otherwise, the dogs are really nicely framed, with great natural lighting, very soft yet crisp.
