The Bridgeby JustinBellComment: The bottom 1/4 of the picture doesn't seem to add anything except a dark muddiness. I'd crop it up from the bottom a bit. Fun shot. |

Nocturnal Warriorby aerogurlComment: Very nice. I would have liked a little more DOP. It could be my eyes, but the left eye seems softer on the focus than the right, and since it's such an extreme close-up, it seems important for them to be even. |

The Blind Beggarby nikbartzComment: This looks like a wonderful shot, but it's so dark, you've lost a lot of detail. My eye is drawn to the very light part in the upper left, and while it's interesting I feel I've missed the most important part of the picture--the begger. |

Alone on the beachby edmengComment: Love the footprints, very nice shot. Would have liked a little more head room--seems a little squished at the top. |

After The Stormby GallatinComment: Nice shot. The larger empty spot in the lower right doesn't lend much to the picture. Would it have been strong from a different angle? |

No Gasby TheStickComment: Outtake from gas station? Nice shot. Since you're cutting off the overhang a little already, you might want to try cropping it in from the left some more. I realize that you'd lose the "fina" on the overhang, but the left 1/5 of the picture doesn't have much interest, and the tall pole and the sweeping upward wire at the top are a little distracting. Try cropping it in from left to right before the black rectangular sign--I think it will concentrate the focus a little more and get rid of some distractions. |

Power Smashby zerocusaComment: Wonderful capture--bizarre shot. He's so twisted! (it looks like he's smashing an eyeball :) |

Lifeby ssanComment: It's a very intriguing picture, but I think the DOP is a little too shallow for my tastes. If you had to work with this DOP, you might be better off focusing on the near flowers and letting the shot fade off. The upper right corner with the orange and white draws your eyes, but there's not much for them when they get there. perhaps burn it out a bit or crop it out? |

Long walk homeby KarelfredComment: Very, very nice. Love the fog. especially like the lighting on the bags he's carrying. It would be interesting to see it from a different angle--moving more to the left side of the road so we get more of a feel of the road going off into the distance. - 8 |
