The flowers mainly have my oldest daughter to thank, as she collected the blooms from her garden and put together the arrangements in preparation for her sister's back yard wedding reception party. I did use Dynamic Auto Painter set to "Monet" to generate a painterly effect that I applied as a layer with partial opacity. But I masked out the majority of the effect over the flowers themselves, which is why there might be a somewhat naturalistic impression. Late afternoon sun illuminated the flowers, which received a bit of additional brightening with curves and were brought out further with a bit of clarity adjustment and set off by a mild vignette. Lovely afternoon, and I am glad to have this image from that day. |
Cool - I don̢۪t know Dynamic Auto Painter - I̢۪ll have to look it up! You should print this out for their house. |
