I'm not sure what you were going for here. The candle doesn't say HOPE to me. Some pointers. Its quite a bit out of focus. Maybe you meant it to be but it doesn't work for me. A better composition would be to have it off center. Good luck on future entries.

Its such a precious photo. The clarity is wonderful. I love the black and white. I don't like the white in the border. Rather than being able to focus easily on the child, the white border pulls my eyes back and forth from side to side. Weird, but it does. Beautiful child. I want to reach out and pull the strand of hair away from her nose :) 8
