March Snowdrops by bobonacusComment: Considering the orientation of this image, I would have liked to see, perhaps, a deeper DOF. |

February - The Month of Loveby dpattersonComment: For a shot that's been done over and over on this site, I would like to have seen some more stark black in the heart shadow. The book pages are well light, and I like the diagonal lines... but there is some noise in this photo that I'm not sure really helps the image... |

Aprilby banmornComment: A nice picture of a pitcher of flowers. Well composed... The green background is... okay. Decent lighting. |

Novemberby brumer0Comment: Hmm.... well the post processing actually kinda works here. I like the way it has brought out the details in the foreground while the treatment of colors is somewhat vague. I can almost hear the wind blowing... |

Februaryby peterComment: Everything in this image feels light. The barn seems like it's trying to exit the frame but just didn't make it. Not really sure this is working for me compositionally. |

February - daffodil dreamsby glenncComment: This is a nice composition, there isn't really anything that stands out, in my opinion. I like the treatment of the background with the vertical lines leading you through the frame, broken up by the foreground. |

January.....The Stormy Seasonby ButterflyGirlComment: This is probably just because of location, but I wish January looked like this here. It's usually replaced with about 5 feet of snow and boring smooth overcast skies. I like the dynamics in the clouds, though I think they could be doing more... not like that is in your control though. The livestock is barely hanging onto the frame... but that doesn't really bother me too much. I would really like to have seen something breaking the horizon line into the sky because they are really two separate elements here. There is a hint of something in the background but it is easily dismissed. |

Februaryby PixelstateComment: An interesting composition (not sure how I feel about it yet), and I can really feel the warmth of the sunlight peeking around the trees. I don't know, this is almost too yellow/golden for me... I understand it adds to the warmth but I think it could be toned down just a tad to balance it out but still leave a sense of warmth. |

Morning fog in Marchby hfriesenComment: A very nice capture of the fog/mist. The faded trees in the background give extra depth that I think would otherwise be lost in the strength of the foreground and reflections. However, I think this leaves a lot to be desired as far as composition goes. |
