Total Lunar Eclipseby marboComment: Oooohhhh, so sorry you didn't ribbon for this awesome shot. I gave it a 10, and had it pegged for the blue. |

Between Heaven and Earth by DudskiComment: Heh, it seems I was indeed half a planet away with my guess on the location. Congrats on the blue. Although I only gave this a 9 initially, with hindsight and on further views I should have stuck my neck out and gone for the 10.
To get a blue against such a massive entry is an awesome achievement. Well done! |

The Droverby JudiComment: I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1113 images, I gave 90 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 90, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.
One of the more unusual shots in the challenge in that it doesn't involve a sunset or a bug macro, but this image really appeals to me. I think it the contrast between the clarity of the horse and rider compared to the smoky haze of dust in the distance. A really nice shot.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

There are two almost identical shots of this location in this challenge, but I rate yours more highly. The colours and processing on your shot feel so much more natural (I was there myself last year on my honeymoon). I also prefer that your vantage point and framing excludes the sky, helping the viewer to focus on the horseshoe itself.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

Lots of starry night skies in this challenge but I love the duo-tone effect of this image. The stars stand out beautifully from the sky, and the water looks so tranquil. Nice shot.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

Lots of nighttime cityscapes in this challenger, but this is one of my favourites... the light trails on the water add a little extra dimension. The place loks really vibrant and exciting. Nice shot.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

Lots of flower close-ups in this challenge, but this is one of my favourites. The black and white finish really helps the viewer focus on the form of the image, and personally I love the wispy ethereal feal to the image. Lovely shot!
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

Nice motion blur on the water, but the bridge is nice and crisp and sharp. It almost looks like the garden in France that Monet used to paint many of his famous impressionist scenes of. So tranquil and relaxing, you've captured the scene so beautifully.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

Lots of water droplet pictues in every challenge it seems these days, hated by some, loved by others. Sometimes with the abundance of such shots it's hard to remember how difficult perfectly executed water drops are. This has an added dimension of the background reflected through the droplet, which I can only imagine to be much more difficult to achieve. Personally, I would have rated it a point higher if the image was fully desaturated, as I find the odd hints of colout here and there to be a distraction rather than adding anything to the image. Nonetheless, a nice shot.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |
