Plant with an Edgeby spistoleComment: This would have been a great image if the DOF had been kept under control. It's also ever so slightly out of focus which also hurts. |

Tangible Sunshineby BalkoComment: The overdone edge whites are distracting - the sharp devolution from yellow to blue isn't the best transition making the image look over sharpened ever though it isn't. |

Pink Assortmentby nana-kComment: Over saturated and over sharpened. It almost looks like a composite image with the flowers added in to the background. |

Texas Bluebonnetsby jerseyjimComment: Focus problem which hurts the image. Would have been a better image if the author had backed off a little. |

Softly in Pink by Mark-AComment: Simply elegant - minimalist in execution. Minor foreground grain problem - very well executed with minor flaw. |

Synergyby Dr_TotoComment: Excellant combination of flora and fauna - really like the idea here. Unfortunately, the DOF on the leaf ruins the overall effort. A+ for concept, A for composition, C- for execution. |

Floral Fantasticby TallPaulComment: A tad over done on the lighting - it would be much better with a faster shutter speed or a little more deft hand with the aperature. The unfortunate part is the white bloom on the lower bud and poor crop. Even with the white bloom, it would have worked very well without the stem. |

Dead Floraby KincaHUNComment: I'm ambivalent about this - on the one hand, it's very intriguing - the rather interesting color cast and detail are a curiosity - on the other, the right hand DOF is distracting and unbalances the image from its central focus. Eh - split the difference between the two. |

Hiddenby tfarrell23Comment: The DOF control is excellant and from a technical standpoint, the image is very well done. However it is incredibly uninteresting and dull. A higher angle to address more of the face of the dandelion would have helped a lot. |

Fleeting Delicacyby william88Comment: I like this, but again, another image that needs a good crop to bring out the very interesting features in the middle of the water drop. Everything else in this image is a side show and detracts from the overall surrealist impression. |
