Comment:
From a technical standpoint, this is a terrific effort - crisp, sharp with everything detail well controlled and captured. From an artistic standpoint, it's rather bland and uninviting to the viewer. Sometimes an image, even one as technically competant as this one is, is just an image. A worthy entry into the challenge and directly related to the challenge subject. A good effort falling short in the artistic sense.

The only complaint I have is that the engine is a little less detailed than it could have been, but the overall ethereal effect is excellant and the image has terrific impact. A complete artistic success and a nitpicky technical success. Well done.

Richly detailed, the major flaw of the rather blank and univiting windows (a result of difficult lighting conditions) are unfortunate. From an artistic standpoint, this is richly detailed and very effective - with the sole exception of the windows. The author might want to revisit this image at some point and work with post processing software to reduce the overall blankness and/or layer some detail into the image. A good entry into the challenge.

It's often better when viewing an image that makes one laugh is to come back and look at it again. After doing so, this is definetly a ten if only because of it's clever use of toys that meet the challenge subject. While technically flawed, it is a complete artistic success.

Another highly inventive look at the challenge subject, this image is a technical success, but the bee lacks some definition and detail - although that is the point when something this small is run over by a train. A good well thought out image and a worthy entry into the challnege from both an technical and artistic standpoint.
