An elephant washing a hybrid, must be earth day!by JdroullardComment: Funny is good - humor always trumps technical and artistic imperfections. While overly busy, the content is hilarious and has some not so minor laugh out loud details. A greate capture and worth every single point of it's rating. Well done. |

Airborneby stargazer05766Comment: An amazing viewpoint and something that one doesn't often see with black dogs - rich and detailed facial expressions. While the image could use a little better crop, the vaguely detailed background compliments the intensity and meaningful purpose behind the leap. An amazing image perfectly captured. One minor little technical issue in that the image is just slightly oversharpened, it is none the less a complete technical and artistic success. Should be a ribbon contender. Well done. |

Ready for Touchdownby BrianRComment: Audubon perfect, this is an amazing image richly detailed, properly framed and composed with nothing out of place and technically perfect. It has a great deal of artistic impact and is as stunningly beautiful the third or fourth viewing as it was on the first. A complete artistic and technical success demonstrating motion, grace, and beauty. Well done. |

Slalomby h2Comment: A beautiful image, richly detailed and well composed showing the beauty and grace inherent in the Border Collie breed. A terrific imge and worthy of a ribbon - great angle and a complete technical and artistic success. Well done.
I try very hard to stay in the third person and be as neutral as possible, but this image brought tears to my eyes. I recently lost my red Border Collie Duke to a stroke - best dog I ever had. He was as intense as he was friendly, happy and fun to be with - he ran Agility courses with boundless energy and concentration always having fun and doing his very best - he was my best friend forever. This image evokes his memory in ways I just can't describe - he was with me for thirteen wonderful and memory filled years and I miss him terribly. Thank you for this wonderful image. |

3 hours later...by TomCubisComment: A sense of humor is always appreciated and this certainly is laugh out loud funny. A terrific image full of humor and whimsy, it only needs a rabbit to complete the trifecta of comedy, humor and laughter. Very clever and given a 10 just because it's so different. Terrific - well done. |

Odin vs. Hrungnirby VitaminBComment: Eadweard Muybridge in 1872 settled a bet on whether a horse ever has all four feet off the ground at the same time. This is a perfect example of that which is still argued today. A richly detailed and dramatic image, this demonstrates the beauty, grace and style of a running horse in the Sport of Kings. A beautiful image technically and artistically perfect. A top prize contender. Well done. |

Built for Speedby StagoleeComment: Beauty, grace and style seems to be the watchwords so far in this challenge and this image meets that expectation perfectly. While the image is just slightly over sharpened, it is still a technical and artistic success worthy of ribbon contention. Well done. |

pain merchantby bladComment: In the ratings pass, this reviewer was uncomfortable rating this image - there are several levels of impact here which change every time it's viewed. After six views and a close inspection of the image, this reviewer has to rerate it from a 6 to a 9 because it has the technical quality one looks for in a high rated image even if it isn't as effective from an artistic standpoint - it lacks that certain "something" that makes it standout. It's still a cut above the highly rated images in this challenge. While not exactly a ribbon contender, this should place well in the challenge. |
