Here I Comeby AlainComment: A dog and a ball - is there a more natural way to envoke graceful action imagery? A terrific capture, it is full of intensity, color and detail. Some may see the slight blur on the body as a negative, but it only enhances the detail of the dog's face as it concentrates on the ball. A wonderful capture and worth every point of it's rating. A technical and artistic success, just shy of being perfect. Well done. |

Searching for a targetby MrXpressComment: Not quite to the same level of expertise as some of the other avian images in this challenge, a difficult lighting situation leading to rather flat and dull coloring is the major issue. A good effort that might have been improved with a little more patience waiting for a different angle and lighting. |

A Little Tongue Actionby colorcarnivalComment: Interesting concept, but it falls short of being an artistic success in that while a clever conversion, it fails to have any significant impact on the viewer beyond being a different snapshot. From a technical standpoint, it's overly vague and would have been better if the body was more detailed to give some dimension and depth to the image - in addition to enhancing the pink tongue. Not quite a "motion" shot, it does elicit a positive impression. |

~ V a q u e r o ~by hihosilverComment: Abstract in it's execution, there are two ways to view this image - negatively in the sense of detail and over done action. On the other hand, it's very abstract nature is indicative of motion and the colors and motion blur give it a certain feel, as it related to the challenge subject, that is a plus. In this kind of quandry, and given this reviewer's propensity to positively rate abstract images, the benefit of the doubt goes to the author. The blend of color and background are complimentary which is an artistic plus and can be viewed as a technical plus. Not necessarily to everyone's taste, this might break into the top twenty and possibly the top fifteen images if the commenters and reviewers give it chance by understanding the nature of impressionist imagery. |

Tiptoe Through The Lupinesby lynnesiteComment: Another incredibly detailed - an unbelievable motion shot with all technical and artistic areas competantly covered. Minor technical issue with the exposure setting - it could have been tweaked just a little more to h elp with some definition on the horse, but it works as it is. Not a complete artistic success, it is a very good image none the less. Congratulations on achieving a level of beauty, grace, power and style that is the equal of other equine images in this challenge. Well done. |

Quick Duckby DistantColoursComment: A great image just slightly flawed by the water drops ahead of the duck. A good action capture, it's properly framed with good detail and motion capture. The reflection of the wave on the surface of the water is simply unbelivable - in and of itself, a major achievement. This image could work upside down - an example of both technical and artistic excellance. Well done. |

Purple Martinby rodfulkComment: Not quite to the same level of expertise as some of the other avian images in this challenge, the image is flawed due to a difficult lighting situation leading to rather flat and dull coloring and soft focus. The blank sky also enhances this problem. A good effort that might have been improved with a little more patience waiting for a different angle and lighting. |
