Poker Faceby AbraComment: Reminds me of playing cards with my Granddaughter - she can't keep a straight face if she had to. I think a little less length to the image would have made more impact - the excitement is lost a little in the larger image. |

Royally Flushedby MarkBComment: One earlier entry had a similar concept - both are very clever takes on flush suit of cards. Well done. |

Ace is Lowby Fly_AwayComment: I like the fade, but I think it would have worked better with a better focus in the furthest cards - a little less fade would have worked better in my opinion. |

Drinking Gamesby BriannaNealComment: I'm not afraid to admit that I don't get it - I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, but I must be missing something. |

Electric Deathby RyanWComment: I like these kind of imaginative takes on challenges. Pretty clever. One complaint is what I assume is the glue holing the cards in place. The eye goes to that immediately and it distracts from the overall impact of the image. |

Jacks DPby BenstedComment: Seriously? Playing card pron? :>)
I've noticed this in a couple of other entries - the edges seem as if the image has been over sharpened or over use of the unsharp mask. It's very noticeable with that slight halo around the edges. In this case it is very noticeable on the top card - I don't think it is color bleed. What ever it is it distracts from the overall impact of the image. |

End Gameby banmornComment: A end of game ritual in which the losers weep and the winners grin. Conceptually different from the rest of the entries. Just the right size - makes viewing easy. Nicely done. |

The Springby inshaalaComment: Interesting take on color and movement - I think a little faster shutter speed might have made this a better image. |

Double or Nothingby MonkeyShrikeComment: Interesting take on gambling and cards. Probably happens more often than you'd think. Like the soft focus and sharp center - different. |
