I was wondering what the deal was with the egg on the checkerboard background, then I saw the name and figured it wasn't meant to mean anything in particular.

It has some interesting lighting on the egg, not sure about the angle / orientation of the checkerboard.

Overall it's not an image that particularly appeals to me, but that's more personal preference than there being anything wrong with it. 6.

This is a really interesting and entertaining use of a fisheye lens! This to me is exactly the kind of thing they should be used for!

Love the fact you've included people and traffic along the bottom as well, it really works well. I also really like the fact that you've kept the sun flare, it works well.

This image should be hung in the lobby of the building of which I'm assuming the big circle thing belongs to, you should see if they will buy it! 8.

Great action shot, great timing and good composition. It's a shame we're looking at him from behind though, would be better if he was facing the camera. 7.

This is an interesting image, I like the effect of the background trees and the sun trying to reach through the fog. I'm not so keen on the foreground tree though, I don't think it works quite right.

I know without the foreground tree the shot might be a little bland, but there's something about the composition of it that isn't agreeing with me. 6.

I'm torn on the processing for this one. My initial reaction was that I liked it, and I usually go with that, but very quickly afterwards when looking at this I began to think I didn't like the amount of white across the top.

You have managed to capture an "old fashioned" look here, which I believe is what you are going for, but I just can't make up my mind if I like it or not. I'm going to give this a 6 for now, but I may come back and alter that in either direction depending how this one settles with me!

Came back to say that I've upped this to a 7 vote, I think this is a touch bright on screen but would look great on print.

I almost didn't spot the boy in the image there, he blended in nicely with the billboard.

This is a great street shot, love the fact that the boy seems to be wanting to join in with their celebration, perhaps dreaming one day of being there with them!

WOW, green water! You have some weird oversaturaged reflections going on there.

The landscape shot is nice enough, but I can't stop myself looking at the GREEN water!

Nice model shot with an interesting background. Unfortunately she's glowing, and I don't mean that in a "great skin tones" kind of way. There's an aura all around her from the processing, feels kinda like you finished work on the model and then didn't bother with the background.

I'll give this a 6 overall, few points knocked off for the glowing girl!

I realised recently I talk about CD's the same way I used to talk about LP's. Nice reminder of them but not really an outstanding shot for a free study.

What a great unusual shot, I would love to see more of this. The lines are wondeful and they lead you nicely down into the shot.

If I lived near landscapes like this I would be there all the time trying to get shots just like this!
