This is nice, but as it has become a bit of a common shot here, something along these lines has to be completely outstanding in some fashion to impress me, and I'm afraid this one doesn't have anything in particular that makes me stop and go wow.

I recognize it's a good shot, but unfortunately it's a type of shot that we see so much of now that it almost becomes mundane.

Nice idea, but I don't really like the composition. The horse is cropped off in strange positions and there's a bit of empty space in front that doesn't seem to serve a purpose.

Also, the whole shot feels a little flat, but that could be down to the overcast sky.

Interesting, I really like the concept of the silhouetted smoker, but I think the background you have chosen isn't a good one, it's too rich and doesn't fit well with the theme.

I don't know what to make of this, I've come back to it about 4 times now and I really have to make a decision, it's an interesting abstract, a study in geometry almost, but I can't decide if it appeals to me or not!

I'm going to give it a 8, because I think it's a well executed, interesting "something" that got me thinking and coming back to it, so it definitely has more going for it than a lot of shots!

I'm not entirely sure what to make of this. The dress is just screaming out at me making the model completely secondary in this shot!

Everything else about it I like, the lighting, the chair, the dark background, but I just can't get past the dress!

My first thought when I saw this shot was "too close, too busy, can't see everything properly", but as I looked at it for longer I began to appreciate the details and came to quite like the framing.

I like the contrasts of the colours and the way you can see different layers of the greenery even though at first glance they all just seem to blend together.

This shot takes a while to take in properly for me, but it's really nice. I'm still undecided about the cropping along the top though, I find it gives it a slightly claustrophobic feel, possibly because of the proximity of the closest plant on the left hand side.

I'm afraid this actually looks like a dead duck to me, so I don't really see the beauty!

The B&W conversion has also given it a slightly sinister look, which for me is in theme with the dead duck and completely out of theme with your title.
