Midas (blue period)by Ecce_SignumComment: Excellent abstract image. The blue just makes it really stand out. I think that the clouds on the right hand corner disrupts the great shapes presented. "9" |

... Trough The Seaby empauloComment: Love the beautiful captured curve that your eyes follow from the foreground toward the background. Straightening the horizon would really make the composition perfect. Possibly adding someone to walk the road would give the feeling of being there. "8" |

Going down the hillby MotoCycleBoiComment: Great spot to capture the moment. Your eyes are follow the road around the bend. I like that you included a point of interest by included the two men. They seem to be on a leisurely walk during a race. Depth of field is excellent. "10" |

The point has vanishedby neehaiComment: The blue of the skies really help to bring out the pier. The beautiful clear water adds a great touch of varied color to the shot. The abstractness of the pier itself works very well because of the solid colors surrounding it (sky, water). |

Riding Off Into the Horizonby annasenseComment: I think a closer crop of the bridge would've given more impact. Your eyes seem to wonder because of the overhang. I like how the people are included and makes you feel like you are there. |

Flyby faidoiComment: Actually the fly was quite alive. The cold weather here in the sunset district just kept it moving really slow and inactive. It didn't attempt to fly away when I was an inch away from it. I was able to take a couple of pictures and it escape. |

Gathering Stormby AmiYuyComment: The sharpness of the building really gives this composition a graphic appeal.Beautiful reflections in the windows.
The white clouds mixed in with the dark clouds give it a swirling dynamic movement.Great contrast in the sky. The extended negative space gives an added feeling of the impeding storm.
Yes, this one would make a great print.

Curiosityby AmiYuyComment: Great details and textures. The highlights in the eyes help to make your eyes make contact with theirs.
The contrast between the colors of the denim jeans and the felines really help to make the subjects pop out of the shot.
The gnawing of the lens cover shows the mischievous antics of cats.
Was there some erasing done between both kittens? If not some cloning would fix the distraction.
