Hmmm, perhaps cut the flash and use a light to light the subject from the other end of the tube. The flash really drowned the shot and causes it to be blurry too. If you used a light at the other end your subject would be in focuses as well bring in some light to give the tube it's texture and clarity...and maybe makeing it a more interesting photo. Did you try that?

Nice comp! However, it appears to be a little over exposed with the flowers. It's hard to tell what they were. i thought they were leaves at first, but it's to early yest to have a tree full setr of leaves. IMO, I would give the flowers for toneage. Altjough i do like the darken and stong image of the trunks and branches...maybe that's waht you were after with this shot...
