Note that when i start my comments with an "oooooo" that's usually a very good thing.

This is just perfect. Detail is just right, no oversharpening as i'm seeing in many entries. Just right. The beak could be just a tad sharper but i know that frustration with birds, its either the eyes or the beak. This deserves a 9 from me.

Needs some contrast adjustments and maybe slight sharpening. I like your pigeon its unique, but the background distracts from it.

B&W is probably a good choice because the background is not as blurry as i would like to see and so the lack of its color makes for less of a distraction. This is not bad i like the motion feel.
