Silhouettes can probably be considerd as shadows but its not YOUR SHADOW like the challenge is all about ....., and I don't like to be called an .....!
But I consider silhouettes to be underexposed subjects, not shadows, that can look good on a photo, like this photo is very good but not fitting the challenge.

This is a nice 'product' style photo. The lighting is excellent. The red contrasts nicely with your white background and surface. I think this photo would also do well with a slightly lower camera angle and maybe a slight rotation of the car to create some more diagonal punch in the frame. As for shallow depth of field, I don't see any.

another ribbon winner for sure, great exposure, the milk could have be purer though, but your depth of field goes well with the placement of your subjects.
