Good compositiont. I am not sure why this shot doesn't have a good feel for me; I think it's partly the light and the sharpness. I compare it to the other guitar shot, where the light is soft; that has better aesthetics to me (if the person weren't there). The soft focus and light there adds a nicer tone; the wood here looks pretty unfinished and ragged. Also, the strap hook caught some light, and that doesn't complement the shape. I think perhaps this might have been better as a sillouette. Hopefully, you won't take offense--I know guitars can be special to people! Just offering some thoughts and suggestions to improve the shot next time!

The lighting shows the shape well and also casts nice shadows. The white border is very distracting so close to the one string.

All the string look the same size... I like the shadows though. a maple fret board is sooo much prettier than rosewood.
