Its Bark Is Worse Than Its Biteby ShakaComment by Teafran: Very abstract in concept and execution, but a little too busy to be truly effective. The amount of detail overwhelms the visual senses creating a discomforting visual. In a larger format or with a little longer focal length this would have worked much better as the details would have blended more creating a more favorable impression. |

Pour Some Sugar on Meby ShakaComment by Shaka: Originally posted by smudgeSMJ: I bet it took her more than a week to get all that sugar out of her hair! |
Yes, what a great model and friend she is! |

Aquamarineby ShakaComment by Shaka: Originally posted by bvy: Lovely, and nicely composed and framed. Did you do any selective sort of desat to isolate or enhance the blue colors? It's really quite subtle and impressive. |
Um, just some curves adjustment...? (You'll have to forgive me -- I'm not very savvy with the post-editing yet!) :) |

Red on Blueby ShakaComment by Shaka: Originally posted by sfalice: Yes, lovely contrasts here with two primary colors jousting for attention.
Was that sunlight, or onboard flash for the bright red branches? |
Nope, no flash -- all natural lighting here. I was just walking back to my car and this vivid patch of red caught my eye. I immediately thought "Color!" and went over to snap a couple shots. :) I know that this type of photo would never do well in a real challenge, but I still think that it goes nicely with this "Color Side Challenge," yes? |

085 - Copy - Copy.JPGby ShakaComment by jettyimages: This is my favourite of your set - love the depth of the red and the shadows. It looks as though she's going upstairs to do something forbidden, but stops on the way - although it would be good to see her slightly more side on, particularly her torso. Lovely lighting and cross processed lok |

Balloonsby ShakaComment by MelonMusketeer: It looks like party time for sure. The blue one gives me an idea for a blur shot, and that is to use a balloon as a filter to do a blur shot, or B&W blur shot of a contrasty subject, like the window bars behind the baloon.
