exposure, dof, contrast and colors all look good but there is no where to rest my eye really. Adding some item minimally to the shot would add interest and give the eye a place to rest and take a break from the chaos.

Nothing astounding about this shot. Very narrow DOF which I think does this shot a disservice. Wished a bit more was in focus.

very good example...my only comment is that I know that there is alot of up and down on the bark...not sure why but that high and low of the texture is lost...but a very good picture..

Very abstract in concept and execution, but a little too busy to be truly effective. The amount of detail overwhelms the visual senses creating a discomforting visual. In a larger format or with a little longer focal length this would have worked much better as the details would have blended more creating a more favorable impression.
