| Papillonby MsAmbrosiaComment by rlewis: nice image, I really would like more DOF and I am not sure the focus is perfectly on the eye |

| Papillonby MsAmbrosiaComment by aliqui: Nice image. I really like the composition and colors, but it looks like you missed your focal sweet spot by just a hair.
One trick I learned to alleviate a slightly missed focus is to burn on the shadows level and dodge on the highlights (both at about 10%). I tested this method on your shot, and it looked a little better to me. |

| Isolationby MsAmbrosiaComment by sonyalphausr: wow, i really like this picture. I might have liked it better in color, but that is just my personal opinion. As is, this is a well taken shot and conveys a heck of a message. |

| Flower in Blueby MsAmbrosiaComment by dahkota: very vibrant. Would appreciate a little more detail in subject or a little less sharpness - this image is at that in between space where I don't know which way you wanted to go. |

| Isolationby MsAmbrosiaComment by inspzil: MsAmbrosia - I really like this photo. Its not a photo that is going to stick in my mind for decades, but I'll be reminded of it now and again. Its hard to critique a photo like this as I don't really find anything I would change dramatically. The foreground is a little bit dark. As opposed the obvious fix, lighten up the foreground a little, I'd be more inclined to pan back a little and sort of vignette the photo with the burn tool. That's really very minor and either way, I don't think it effects the great mood of the photo. I think you've done a fine job with it. I think its a 6+ photo that was somewhat under appreciated due to the gloominess of shot. Its a good photo. Good Luck with your future endeavors - Bob |
