An interesting image that meets the challenge

You have some lovely bright colours for your flowers which work well against the interesting background. Whilst I can see why you have used this filter to fulfil the challenge brief I am no fan of these filters at all so I̢۪m not really in a position to give you an unbiased opinion. I see the title is indeed most accurate hope you are having or have had an enjoyable time in France Janine.

An appealing landscape that contributes well to the open challenge

This has your hallmark written all over it Janine, another well executed landscape with that extra something that makes it so appealing which in this instance is probably the golden glow of the foliage and its reflection on the right shore of the lake. It̢۪s well composed with good DOF and clarity throughout although the whites are pushed to their limits it is appropriate for the scene, indeed there is a lovely range of tones throughout. I can see Georges point and concur but it is a minor issue that would benefit from removal. Thanks for another lovely entry Janine.
