This is a beautiful picture, well framed and just enough DOF to lift it out of the black. It is well lit and the ribbon placed well in the overall shot. I could not suggest any improvements on it at all and this would make a great wall hanging or stock photo, but does not invoke low tech to me at all as I see no technology in tea pots in general. Instead it says to me ancient culture. High marks for composition, some loss for challenge interpretation.

We have a winner! Yes that is what it is well, It is called "1000 year egg" to non Chinese people. To the Chinese it is just called "Preserved Duck Eggs" Or "Peedan" (rough English translation) Ok whos next?
