Try and avoid using titles of this like. People will be put off by it and will most likely penalize you for it because they may think you are trying for the 'sympathy' vote.

Not bad, it's tough to tell if the man walking towards the camera is wearing a purple shirt (being a purple challenge I assume he is).

Congratulations on joining us in this crazy madcap adventure. If you hang in for awhile, I can guarantee that it will be a rewarding one! What I might suggest would be to make the purple object more the focal point for the photograph. Also, you could adjust the white balace to remove the yellow hue caused by the street lights. This in turn would make the purple sweatshirt pop! Best of luck to you. :-)

Nice capture of a nighttime mood. Do keep submitting. Focus can be difficult at night, but this kind of image calls for sharper focus. Play around with the focus settings or consider manual focus in low light. Having the far end of the walkway tilted makes for an uncomfortable sliding sensation that could be corrected by a little rotation in post processing. For a "purple" challenge, higher votes will go to images that draw the eye to that color. In this case, the artificial lighting could use a little white balance correction to make the purple jacket stand out more. Good luck.

Nice shot the rail makes a nice leading line and the people add interest and a sense of scale. It seems like the bridge is leaning to the left maybe a little clockwise rotation would fix it.
