Try this....by jomariComment by Jutilda: This is like a vintage style postcard. Maybe commemorating that Festival! I like the rich warmness of the colors. |

Balcony Birdsby jomariComment by BeckyT: Like everyone else I like the blocks of color with the textures combine with the smooth metal hand rail. Perfect place for these "cockies" |

Balcony Birdsby jomariComment by nam: I just love the blocks of color - the deep red, the gray, the black - and the textures of the surroundings. It's a geometrical abstract with the whimsy of the birds tossed in. I doubt that you can recover any more detail on the birds - if you could, I would sure look for other crops (as suggested by kasaba and play with this some more. |

Flights of Fancyby jomariComment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Man sets sail, birds take flight. That is my first thought that struck me when I viewed the shot. The mast and riggings is what allows the sail to catch wind - and allows men to sail upon the waters (or at least early periods because now you have machine power). Birds catch the wind in their wings which allows them to fly. This is an interesting juxtaposition of man and nature. Love the soft hues and the silhouettes here - nicely captured. |
