Towards Summerby jomariComment by Germaine: Great framing with the trees of the couple on the beach, and killer texture in the bark of the trees -- I can't say which I like better. The little kid to the side is an unexpected extra. |

Towards Summerby jomariComment by posthumous: our experience is always mediated by our perception of it. here we see it as a literal obstacle that divides up the scene in ways the scene itself is unaware of.
one imagines unseen forces playing on the lives of these people, bringing them together and pushing them apart.
but of course it's really a seen force, and it's playing on us, not them. |

Towards Summerby jomariComment by streetpigeon: This feels more about the trees' day at the beach than the humans'. The people are present as part of the unrolling scroll of time, and I like to think they're viewed with affection. Nicely cinematic. |
