Don't Blame Meby jomariComment by insteps: Like Mariuca said, I want to see this in bold b&w with some dark vignette. It's screaming film noir. A wonderful catch full of mystery. |

Don't Blame Meby jomariComment by nam: Cute title that works well with the expression on the bird's face. The cracks and splintered shapes in the windshield make a good background. |

Don't Blame Meby jomariComment by Germaine: He's blissfully indifferent to the damage upon which he is standing! If I stare at the shot long enough, the shattered glass in the background starts to look like an even bigger bird about to prey on the black bird. |

Don't Blame Meby jomariComment by mariuca: Sometimes it's hard to understand why an image attracts me so much. This is like a fable, a cautionary tale that needs some rhymes to go with it.
I am inclined to try it with more definition in the glass, or more contrast, or plain darker in b&W and the fable could become a film noir |

Bottled Nasturtiumsby jomariComment by nam: Great movement - you must be working on the bw abstract challenge. Colors are nice if a bit garish for me. |

Mixed Farming - Wind and Cattleby jomariComment by streetpigeon: Well-composed and graphically very stylish. A lot of subtle motion here - the pinwheeling wind vanes, the sinuous road, the gently sloping hill and the grazing cows before and at the horizon. The dark green vegetation, with a stone wall, perhaps, establishes a strong foreground the secures the journey into the image. The motion shadows of the vanes add a distinctive whimsy. The huge blue sky is beautiful. Why is that farthest wind vane blue? Camouflage? It all comes together so well. It would be a great poster. |
