Metaphorby jomariComment by posthumous: very successful abstract, imo, the different areas of light and dark, the curves of the branches |

Metaphorby jomariComment by insteps: Your title eluded me before reading your comment. Glad you're on the mends and wish you a speedy recovery. I fall into (no pun intended) the antler camp. Very sculptural driftwood branches. Nice! |

Metaphorby jomariComment by tjbel05: I think this is very fitting for your circumstance. Once I read your description I immediately saw what you were telling us! |

Metaphorby jomariComment by 2mccs: Very nice image. My first thought was antlers. Second was desert trees. I really like it. |

Metaphorby jomariComment by roz: i'm really sorry to hear about your hand Marion .. and i love the way you have connected the tree and your broken hand as a metaphor .. :)
its funny, but not funny .. but a couple of years ago i was getting thru a fence to get a photo of some dew .. and fell on my arm and broke my elbow .. it had already been broken in a car accident years before .. so it was a break on a break .. i still have metal in it from the attempted photo incident .. and want to have the metal taken out .. it hurts a lot if i lean on it .. but i'm scared that taking the metal out might make the arm worse ..
anyway .. sorry to make this a bit about me .. but i felt we could sympathize about our broken bits and pieces .. xx |

Taking Shelterby jomariComment by roz: this was one of my favourites in the challenge .. loving your editing .. and how this image just pops out at me .. :)
edit to say .. i actually love the way you cropped this .. the ppl and their expressions gives me a connection .. the framing with the plants on the right and the awning above .. doesnt detract from the reflections in any way .. just my opinion ... :) Message edited by author 2018-12-27 02:08:29. |

Crocodile Nasturtiumsby jomariComment by nam: I think I need to learn to be a lot more daring with my use of textures - fascinating effect on these two - sort of like garish and very busy stained glass windows. |

Ducky Daddlesby jomariComment by nam: Particularly nicely framed with the square crop and a great, intent and intense gaze. |

Bark Artby jomariComment by nam: This is the kind of bark I dream of finding . . . great shapes AND colors. What kind of tree is it, do you know? |
