Bridge-Gullsby jomariComment by MelonMusketeer: This is a nice eye level shot, and the eyes are attention getting in the shot. If you crop down to the horizon of the lake, the white building in the BG disappears, and the line of birds pop right out of the resulting pan shot. I noticed that as I scrolled down to make the comment.
I see that they like this perch LOL I wouldn't want to use that handrail. : P

RIMG0008-gulls-gaussian-blu.jpgby jomariComment by Ken: I like the final version that looks somewhat like a comic, but I'm drawn to this one. The birds just seem to glow and pop against the green grass. |

Apple Peepby jomariComment by bob350: Clever use of packing material as a diffuser that really enhances the soft tones of the fruit. I like the light a lot, yet something here has me thinking of the ironic comment "this picture is better than it looks." Mabye a tighter crop showing less of the plastic would help. |

Australian White Ibisby jomariComment by robinssong: Yes, they DO look like our Florida Wood Storks, yet have the Ibis body. I enjoy seeing the birds from the other side of the world and how they are similar, yet have enough differences to make you wonder.
They stand out nicely against the green grass! Good sharpness! |
