Remarks: Oddly, this genre, in a straightforward sort of way, would draw dramatically low marks from me. The cliche, however, has been promoted to the level of parody in this astonishing photograph, and that, apparently, without any injury to innocence or, if you like, to the subject itself.

Altogether a magical image well worth studying, even if only for the various tensions discovered, unified and celebrated here.

I think i'd like this more if her foot were not cut off. I'd suggest either cropping it closer, or keeping her right foot in the frame.

A rather belated comment and suggestion! I think this is a great image but a bit dark, I have found that shooting birds and wildlife an iso of 200 or higher is better! since I started doing it my pics are much sharper.
