eleganciaby tangueraComment by ubique: I was about to bang down a 5 and move on ... but wait ...this is much more substantial than the average amateur glamour shot. More substantial too than a well- above-average amateur glamour shot. It's effortless enough, and without any jarring note, that I think it's a professional's work. Pretty darn nice it is too. Thank you. |

pearlsby tangueraComment by Elaine: I like the idea. Might have been more effective if you had included her head in the reflection. |

motherhoodby tangueraComment by MadMan2k: Nice moment you've captured here, but I think the edge blur is a little strong for my taste. Color tones and composition are very good though, and that's a super cool dog - my neighbors have a female one that always managed to get out and comes over to tease our dogs when they're inside the fence. |

pearlsby tangueraComment by Lydia: I was loving this, until... I got to the "reflection". Then you lost me.
I love it if I crop the "water" out with my hand.
For one, it's not realistic enough and for the second, it makes her left elbow/arm very awkward.
I'd love to see this without the alteration of the "water" and with the word not covering her head... perhaps on a layer behind her head?

pearlsby tangueraComment by mariuca: The idea is still worth pursuing. I find elbows being one of the most un-photogenic parts of the body and this one is no exception, (same fort the left shoulder blade)
The wording shall also play second fiddle to the image. |
