wallflowerby tangueraComment by blindjustice: I love the set up and feel, you have transported us to the studio.
I think you made some wonderful editing choices that reinforce the whole picture, namely, the fact that to the right of the seated gentleman there is focus, and to the right is not in focus. Perhaps it is a blurred vignette, but anyway, it is the correct isolation of the subject as to make the presentation realistic. |

a simple headshotby tangueraComment by primabarbara: Wow - those eyes are gorgeous! Can't take my eyes off of you - this song comes to my mind immidiately.
But I don't like the bottom part (especially the shadow in her cleavage) If it were my picture I would have cropped it about at the hight of the collarbone |

quittin' timeby tangueraComment by primabarbara: I enjoyed reading your notes on how you created this picture! When you mentioned tequila I suggested that you have been to Mexico, haven't you? But for me everything is remembering me of Greece, the donkey and the colours ...that is catching my eye and I actually feel that the shovel is secondary (the reason why this only got a 5 from me - sorry about that) If the challenge was "still life with donkey" I would have given a 7 or 8. |

she was playing french songsby tangueraComment by primabarbara: The young woman evokes sympathy and curiosity one what she's playing, even though you mentioned the French song...And you did a great job with this very smart processing. It wouldn't be that strong with more contrasts, because the backgroungd would have been too distracting. I'm just wondering why her left shoe and the dog's nose are more blue than the rest of her? |
