An excellent job with the subtle colors although it seems like the center of interest (because of the area of brighter light) is the top of the vase rather than the flowers (and that might be how you intended it).

I'm looking without my glasses, so feel free to ignore this comment if you don't agree. It seems like that water is oversharpened. It has that extremely high contrast and jagged edges that come with sharpening. I think sharpening the top, but leaving the bottom a bit less sharpened would have been aesthetically much more pleasing. It's a lovely sky and a wonderful scene, but it's a bit jarring and doesn't seem to fit. 6 as is. Could have gone to an 8 with a different treatment

I think the transparency of the water makes the whole shot work. having the subject stand up to his knees means the water is somewhat pleasing, not harsh and cold, and really brings out the "coastal" rather than simply "maritime" life. again, well done in that regard. 8
