Ti leafby CuttoothComment by Venser: I like this one a lot. Simple and effective.
I wish the water were larger, but that was out of your control.

Ti leafby CuttoothComment by Cuttooth: Originally posted by spiritualspatula: Out of curiosity, are you using extension tubes on these at all? I didn't know the 50 1.4 focused so close.
In any case, the light on this blade is really cool. I like how much variety in color there is, everything from black and deep green to very bright green. The water adds a nice texture to it all. |
Nope, no extension tubes. I do have a 250D close up filter but won't use it until later in the month.
I'm actually not that close to the plant, maybe 18-24" away. You might be thinking it's a tea plant? This ti plant has long, broad leaves.
The light is from the morning sun, shining through canopy of tall trees. It created small "spot lights" on the plant. |

Hibiscusby CuttoothComment by spiritualspatula: Really cool effect with the depth of field on this one. It almost looks as though the flower petals were a separate photo and the stamens bursting forth like a firework. |
